My work involves the validation of and investigation into the biological roles of novel polysialylated proteins.
My research focuses on the role of polySia in the adaptive immune system and how it influences and regulates the function of immune cells in both healthy conditions and during chronic inflammation.
My research focuses on oligoSia on red blood cells and how the applications of blood and blood products can be improved through sialylation.
My research is focused on characterizing the interaction between the novel polysialylated protein GPR15 and its ligand GPR15L in the context of immune cell migration.
